Coffee Crazy Day #3

This Center Step Card was fun, easy & so quick to make! It’s what I would call a “scrapbooker’s card” which to me, is perfect for International Scrapbook Day! I did stamp one little stamp on the front but other than that, someone “allergic” to stamping could totally create this card!

The dies make it super simple to choose your papers for the layers. Just place the die over the area of the paper that you want to use, hold in place with a little stencil tape, & cut. (You might need to trim away the excess paper around the die before sending it through your machine.)

Instead of trying to color a stamped image, I chose to use a focal part of the paper, fussy-cut it out & then I placed it onto dark brown cards stock (the same as the card base) and trimmed again, trying my best to leave about 1/16th of an inch. I am a bit out of practice, having been spoiled for so long by dies! HAHA!

Keep in mind, the top part of the inside is upside down! Remember to rotate the dies so that your pattern faces the right way when you put it in the card! LOL (I actually forgot myself this time). To make this card quickly (because I needed to make a lot of projects for this hop), I just used the largest die from each section in Layers #1. I think it turned out GREAT myself & I love that you can achieve different looks with the 3 sizes of die layers, yet you don’t have to use or layer with every single die in the set on every single card you make.

I also fussy-cut a little design from the paper to add to the lower right of the inside of the card. I’m not sure if you can see it in the photos (I’m so not good at pictures these days), but I added a small amount of SuperTack™ to places I wanted to add glitter (the bow on the cup, the dark lines in the cupcake, the centers of the flowers), and let it dry. SuperTack™ dries clear, raised and STICKY! Then, I just stuck my finger in the jar of glitter & rubbed it over the stickyness until it was all covered with glitter. So much easier to apply glitter when you don’t have to pour it out in a big puddle on everything, then try to get it all back into the jar!

Coffee Crazy Day #2

The K Cup Cover & Adapter Dies work perfectly with the Mini Coffee Holder Dies!
This set makes it so easy  to cover a K Cup for a Keurig or even better,
use the NEW Empty K Cups as a cute little treat cup for anything;
it doesn’t have to be coffee related.

Use the Gift Card Pouch Set to perfectly cover a gift card to add to your treat gift!

I used the NEW Paper Pack Coffee #3 & I fussy-cut a little cup & used it as a “tab” to pull the gift card up out of the holder.
The square piece that adapts the holder for the K cup is placed on top of the Mini Coffee Cup Holder.
I prefer to use a wet glue to put my boxes together as it secures better than “moveable glue” or double-sided tape.
*One of the SUPER things about the Paper Packs is that you can buy by the sheet! So if you LOVE 1 or 2 patterns & want to create a bunch of the same thing with them, you can order a bunch of just those patterns! They are also printed in vertical and horizontal orientation so that they can work well for things like this long Holder die. You’re welcome!

I also cut a piece of chipboard & used my dark brown Copic on the edges, then covered with matching paper from the pack and placed on the back. This will hold the ribbon in place, so it doesn’t slide up and down, reinforce the back of the holder because the gift card is heavy and makes it tip backwards, & also, it finishes off the back of the holder. You could use any heavy chipboard, even a piece of cereal box! Since you don’t see it, recycled chipboard is awesome!

For the Empty K Cups, the circle that comes out of the center of the holder is the PERFECT size for the cup lid!
Or, you can also use the circles that come with the K Cup Adapter Dies set. Either way, use a little SuperTack around the rim of the K cup, let dry until clear and SUPER STICKY, then place the circle of your choice over the treat-filled K cup.
That’s it! The best little treat cups ever!
